Home Buddy has a brand new product, first in the county.  The Portable Alert Lifesaver provides 24/7 assistance. Whenever and where ever needed, the help button can assist you. Now with the GPS location, even if you are unable to communicate with the care center when you press the button, they will know where to send help.

The Portable Alert Lifesaver will allow a growing segment of our population who need something basic and easy to use, as well as something mobile to protect them away from home, to summon help quickly.

GPS Locating

The PAL with GPS locating is the first in the country. With this system, you are able to stay independent and active. The Button will work anywhere cell phone coverage is present. Once you push the button, you can speak to the care center as if it were a cell phone. The GPS locating works at all times, even if the button is not pressed.

Who Can Use the PAL

• Extremely Active: Like to go out to the golf course, or out shopping? Keep living the life you enjoy with the peace of mind that you always have a PAL around.
• Wheelchair Dependant: We know that wheelchairs can break down and / or get stuck just like cars.
• Alzheimer's: The PAL also works great for your loved ones that have Alzheimer's. The care center can locate a missing loved one with one simple call.

Now it doesn’t matter where you are, on the golf course, at the store, on a walk, or in the car, we’ll be able to locate you or your loved one. Now, everyone can have peace of mind.  The Portable Alert Lifesaver is to help keep people independent as long as possible. With the buddy system it puts family, friends and care givers minds at ease knowing that their loved ones are taken care of.

When Needing Help

If help is needed, our care center will call the individuals on the responder list or emergency services depending on the need and the call list specified by the customer. Responders are friends and family members-individuals trusted and chosen by the customer at the time of activation. If an ambulance, police, or fire department is dispatched, our care agent will also give a courtesy call to a loved one.
